Hello and welcome to the first official newsletter for The Village School Foundation! 

Many of you signed up at The Alabama Historical Association gathering in April.  Some of you signed up awhile back when we were still getting our footing.

Our next fundraiser event will be Saturday, October 8th! 
More info TBA, but go ahead and save the date.  We'll have music, food, arts and more!

If you haven't seen our Merch Store yet, please take a moment to peruse and find a gift to share or something for you! 

If you'd like to donate to The Village School Foundation, we are now using the platform called Donorbox, which allows us to receive monthly and annual donations (as well as one-time gifts).  Please consider signing up for a monthly donation, as this helps with our day-to-day operations. 

Other fun, upcoming events this month - 
Thursday, August 18th - 6:30pm - TJ from the Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area will be sharing a presentation at The Village School highlighting photos and stories from his recent adventure, kayaking the entire length of the Tennessee River! 

Saturday, August 20th - 9am-noon - Join us for our next volunteer work day at the school!  Painting, cleaning, organizing and more!  Sign up here
