Hello VSF community,

We've had wonderful turnouts the last few volunteer work days and are really making great progress.  At last month's gathering, Camilla and Alex got more of the Winnie the Pooh mural restored; more painting was done on the stairwell walls and basement hallway.  Greg and Clayton (of MSNHA) got an outdoor drain cleared (no small feat, many years of debris to get through!) that had been pushing water into the basement.  
We still have a long road ahead, but we feel so encouraged and inspired!  Thanks so much to everyone who has pitched in, donated, and/or spread the word!

Our big announcement is about our Fall Fundraiser!
SAVE THE DATE! SATURDAY, OCTOBER 28TH

This year's event is Halloween themed!
4pm-6pm - food trucks, scarecrow contest, face painting and more!
6:30pm-8pm - Haunted History of the Shoals Sheffield Ghost Talk with Laura Aldridge!

Tickets will be available soon for the Ghost Talk portion of the event - Follow the FB event to receive regular updates!  We'll send out another newsletter ahead of the fundraiser.

We will continue hosting our monthly volunteer dates in collaboration with Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area:
