Hello VSF community,

We've had an incredible year of growth and progress at The Village School!  Big thanks to all of YOU, near and far, for coming together and helping us make great strides!  And not just in the restoration process, but in the nurturing and expansion of this vibrant community that we call home.  

We had a wonderful turnout, and so much fun, at our annual fundraiser!  Many thanks go to all the volunteers who made it truly special.  Laura Aldridge shared her Haunted History of the Shoals Ghost Talk; we had the local Ghostbusters car on the scene, and a huge, inflatable castle for the kiddos to frolic about in.  Not to mention, the perfect weather to boot!

It's the season for End of Year Giving! Your donations are tax-deductible and help us continue the work of restoring the school for future generations!

Our long-term goals include having the school be fully functional and available for:

Community Center - Performances - Lectures - Classes - Book Clubs - Village History Exhibits - and more!  We'd love to hear your ideas on what you'd like to see take place in the community.

We have a monthly giving option via Donorbox; you can gift VSF as little as $5/month!
If you'd like a receipt for your donation for tax purposes, please reply or email us.  
Every dollar and kind word of encouragement goes back into the school, helping us get this historic building restored for present and future generations.

We have winterized and closed up the building for now, but will begin our monthly volunteer dates in collaboration with Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area next spring - look for another newsletter then, and be sure to follow us on all of our socials to stay connected!
